Since i discredit god through science, How can i say that ther is such a thing as right and wrong, without a true standard to compare it to? I do not believe that man is a reliable source for this standard, due to ever changing, accepted standards of right and wrong throughout history. Please I do not want anyone to try to convert me with their answer.

If there is not a god, then there is no true morality. What you have done is you have removed not only the origin of order, and therefore morality, but also the *end*, or the reason for humans to be moral.
I know you said that you didn't want anyone to try to convert you with their answer, but I think this needs to be said. If you think you can discredit or disprove God through science, then you're giving material causes too much credit.

Regardless, of whether a person believes in God or not, we all know right from wrong. Whenever, we are about to do something that we know is wrong there is a certain feeling of guilt or shame that comes over us. If something is right you should never be ashamed of it. Whether you want to accept it or not there are two forces constantly at work in our society, good and evil. There are a lot of people, especially scientist who use science as a means to discredit what's good and justify evil. In life you will find that you constantly have to make choices. To believe or not believe, good or evil, right from wrong. The choices we make in life is what determines our destiny. If it were up to me everyone in the world would choose God, however, I can only choose for myself. Who or what you choose is up to you. As for your question the answer depends on the individual. The reason the world is in the condition it is now is because there are many who don't believe in God or fear the consequences of the hell so they do what they want. Hope this answer helps. Peace and God bless.

Yes!
As you pointed out there is no such thing as Ethical facts only Ethical opinions.
True morality of right and wrong has more to do with psychological egoism than altruism. Even though Ethics are based on societal standards, the motivating force is a selfish component of ones own ego.
If I hit you then you hit me back. Therefore It is wrong to hit because I don't want to get hit. Take the Cuban missile war crisis for example. Russia didn't blow us all to hell and we didn't bomb their country with nuclear weapons, because each nation feared being destroyed by the other. Therefore Nuclear War is wrong because nations fear retaliation. Whats right is what allows the majority to co-exist peacefully. Whats wrong is what subjects the majority to pain and suffering. The motivating force behind right and wrong is ones own selfishness.

considering god became no longer himself created, would not that recommend he has no which potential? And if we can not have morals devoid of god, how can god have morals devoid of something else to grant them? Your argument is in accordance with all varieties of nonsensical premises. this would possibly not be a sturdy communicate board to describe the source of morals from a rational atheist attitude. right it extremely is a query for you -- if god is the source of morals, then how come human beings commonly know that slavery is immoral even nonetheless god has in no way reported a single undesirable ingredient approximately it? And what could take place if god have been to wish himself out of existence yet leave each thing else. could morals likewise wink out? What could that recommend precisely?

Logic states that there can be a true morality. Any Mathematician/Statistician will tell you that a state, any state, from absolute morality to absolute immorality to absolute amorality, is possible.
Is it probable?
Not right now.
Play the, "Two Person Zero Sum Game", also known as, "The Prisoner's Dilemma" with any group of any ethnicity or ethnic mix and any level of education and you will see that at some point, someone cheats. After a while, most, if not all, cheat.
This in no way is evidence that true morality cannot exist.
Just because something does not exist now is no evidence that it CANNOT exist ever.
That isn't evidence that it WILL exist either.

Morality isn't some magic word. It's a soup of behavioral choices based on individual priorities, goals, aspirations, and boundaries.
Those choices needn't be made under the shadow of tradition, nor under threat of eternal damnation.
In fact, probably going through the exercise of choosing what sort of human being you wish to be will be more firmly set into your character if you do it based on conscious examination and decision.
There are sound reasons humans have more-or-less universally agreed certain forms of behavior were immoral, God, or no God.
Civility, respect, honesty, respect for property rights, moderation, restraint, are all ideals humans have adopted because they work. They work for individuals, and they work for society.
Mostly we don't individually, nor collectively succeed at achieving those abstract ideals, whether or not we rely on the threat of religious doctrine reprisal for our failure.
But the consequence of our failures doesn't require God. All that's required is a set of working eyes and a mind.
