Golden Boy Eli is right up there... one guy who makes the all-overrated team is Culpepper. He was a cancer on the Vikings and yet the PC crowd can't stop annointing him as great. The bloom is finally off the rose thank goodness. Other overrateds:
Steve Beuerlein (and any other ND QB since Montana)
Randy Moss
Trent Green
Terrell Owens and any other beneficiary of the dink n' dunk offenses
Rich Gannon
MeShawn Johnson
Jake Delhomme
Dogkiller Vick (always has been)
Bill Romanowski
Lots of others, I could go on all day.

First of all you have to highly rated by people to be considered overrated. Eli isn't highly rated by anyone and thus can not be overrated. Vick, even without the dog charges, is very overrated. His contract is(was) a joke. He's had one above average season. But I can't remember too many players as overrated as Lamont Jordan was last year.

Today it's Randy Moss. His numbers are clearly "fasting" (not slowing) down the last 3 seasons, he's become injury prone and is already on the wrong side of the 30's, but people keep thinking he will make the Pats win the Super Bowl.
All time it's Michael Irvin, he made it to the HOF despite his numbers are way below other members and non members who deserve to be there, such as Art Monk.
I disagree with Christanti, Dan Marino carried his team to the playoffs every season and never had a defense, good running backs, linemen or wide receivers. Just mention another superstar on those teams...

Today, obviously most are gonna say Vick because he's in the headlines...I think Eli and Peyton Manning can push Vick for overrated...Ever, that would be impossible to narrow down...You have to think along Jeff George, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Akili Smith lines....

Everyone who said Ben wrong. He had a bad season last year because he rushed back to the field instead of healing 100% He will have another great yr in 08 , overrated though is vick he had the skills to be a so called game changer but lacks spacial ability to actually do it 100mill and no playoffs in 2 yrs come on Atlanta get it together

Vick is overrarated due to the fact he can hand the football off and he can run with the football. The one thing Vick can't due is pass the football. He can never have goo back to back passing games.
Eli Manning is overrarted simply because his last name is Manninng. If he cannot improve this year what will the Giants do. I bet the owner of the Chargers are laughing

i think of you're lifeless incorrect against Ben. without Ben i think of we are seeing how poor the Steelers offense is without him. If no longer for the protection, the Steelers could be 0-2. as properly who became into that guy that threw that perfect bypass to the back of the endzone to win the great bowl? Who became into that guy? the respond is obviously Tony Romo. an extremely gifted QB yet he has no management and he performs poorly whilst his group is at the back of. Mark of a poor QB is individual who won't be able to lead comebacks.

Tough one it is either Eli Manning or Michael Vick. Probably Vick because they say he is so great but he hasn't made the playoffs for the last 2 years.
