I tried rock salt, it was okay. Is there something that is better? Non-toxic is the important part.

I should have been more clear. I have already pulled them up I wanted something to keep them from coming back and the rock salt is an eye sore in itself.

If you don't want to just put on a pair of gloves and sit there to pull them you could try a propane torch. No toxic residue.

your very own 2 palms. heavily, any chemical weedkiller is to a pair degree poisonous (it is the way it kills the weeds). And regrettably, the fewer poisonous they are, the fewer valuable they are at honestly eliminating the weeds. ultimate is that in case you relatively desire to apply a chemical weed killer is to stick to the instructions very carefully and save your canines out of the sprayed area till the pollution have had a huge gamble to disapate (the label will point out how long you will desire to attend). whilst storing the weedkiller, save it in a locked cabinet far flung from any of your canines food or toys.

Try vinegar. It works similarly to "Roundup", but is non-toxic, and a lot cheaper.
