No I won't because I've always loved the NBA and sports in general. Come on let's face the facts, this is still a one time thing. We still don't know if anybody else is involved or what kind of knowledge there is on it. It still remains to be seen. And plus, I don't really get it that much. Everybody loves "The Sopranos"(like I do) and all of a sudden "The Mob" is trying to make a comeback into sports and everybody is schocked that this has occured. Whether you want to believe it or not, "The Mob" has been around for over 100 years!!! Yeah now there not as big as before but they still exist.

PS: I do think though that this is a one time thing(even though they did said that they will make multiple arrests). And it still remains to be seen what is coming up next.

In years past, you could almost swear some of the playoff games were fixed. And I think they were influenced out of David Stern's office. The NBA wants to make money. So therefore, in years past, they wanted to make sure the so called "best teams" made it deep into the playoffs.

The great players always got preferential treatment. MJ is the best of all time. But he got more than his share of phantom fouls & shot tons of FT's. The same can be said for Magic, Bird, & on down the line.

It is in the leagues interst to visit with officials about how to officiate some play off games. It just is & I am surprised that people are making such a big stink about the ref who was fixing games? Come on, this has been going on for a long time.

what you mean to say is...will I stop watching if they confirm that its fixed...Ive been gambling on sports for over 25 years now and the idea has always been to figure the fix...not who the better team is...if the better team always won or covered it wouldnt be gambling it would be stealing...do you honestly think all sporting events with a human element havent been controlled? its kinda sad to think sports fans could be that naive...all thru history there are stories of how people fixed results in boxing ,baseball, basketball, horseracing and most any competitive endeavor...do you honestly think this hasnt been going on for a long time? I will watch like I always have...so will a lot of people...

Well, first of all there are 3 refs that do a game, it would be very hard for one ref to fix an entire game without the other 2 being involved.

No, I love basketball and will always watch it.

It's the best sport period.

they want a thank you to provide up this nonsense with some style of thank you to this controversy in the different case NBA will lose further and further visitors. My answer: Line up each ref in NBA and randomly p.c.. a million fan to p.c.. the two refs

Yeah, if they determine that it's fixed I'll probably stop watching it.

That is unless they fire that ref that cheated and install a very, very strict policy against cheating refs, and also give all the refs who are good a very big raise, so that the refs won't even want to cheat since they already make good money.

I will switch to college basketball.

But thats still an If in your question, and I hope it never becomes the truth.

Nothing would be more depressing for me when it comes to sports, if it all turns out to be scripted.

I quit watching it a couple years ago. I would make a comment, I would be censored because it's racist. Besides, the games were boring, defense is in, I may watch the last couple minutes of a close play off game . That takes 30 to 40 minutes to play.
