Which of the two sentences has the correct grammar??

WHO do you want to conduct the seminar?

or

WHOM do you want to conduct the seminar?


My friend and I have been criticizing this...Can you give me the right answer?

WHOM. It is actually the object, which is the predicate in the sentence. Correctly asked, it is:

You(subject) want (verb) whom (predicate)

where whom is a version of the pronoun "him" or "her" when it is obscure as to gender. All the other words in the sentence modify the nouns, pronouns, or verb you mention

You do want whom to conduct the seminar.
