Steam out the exhaust crack in head or gasket.in engine area hose, pump, crack, gasket. Oil leaks or burn from running hot with out water. Best not to drive till you get it looked at?

check your coolent level.. its probably low. check to see if you have any leaks in the hoses or cracks. the steam has nothing to do with the iol.. do not add oil unless you are low on oil.. you dont want to over fill it

You add oil if your oil level is low. If you have steam coming from it, you have another problem. Overheating/coolant leak.
