Innocent until proven guilty.

You don't get THAT big over time. Look at Bonds when he was young. How much weight did Ichiro Suzuki gain when he still played for Japan versus now? Bonds has zero credibility inside or out of the baseball world. He admitted to 'unknowingly' taking them, but even if that were true, he still took them. Why do you think he left right after passing Hank? If he didn't really take steroids, he'd have nothing to hide. He'd be playing the game and dream he loved, like you said. But nope, he wanted the HR record by any means possible and then call it quits. What a coward and cheater.

His Grand Jury statement said nothing of the kind. The media hates Barry Bonds and has attempted to smear him since he arrived in SF and began to clam up and avoid the sharks. He has never tested positive for anything and funny thing but all the suspicion in all these years has NEVER resulted in any indictment. It's the media who has turned the fans against the greatest player of our time. If you ask the people in SF and other ballplayers, he is not such a bad guy at all but the media has been absolute ______ to him and if I were him, I would react in the same way. The media covering MLB is weak and racist and lacking the creativity to be able to write about anything else of consequence so they beat this horse to death. Barry Bonds may not hold the all time HR record for long but his 7 MVPs will probably stand forever. If you arent a fan of his and his accomplishments, shame on you, you are not a real baseball fan with your own mind. Only the weakminded believe everything they read and the baseball writers are the worst in professional sports.

Guilty until proven innocent? GIVE ME A BREAK! I sincerely hope none of you ever has to spend a minute behind bars. It will change your perspective quickly.

If there was legitimate proof he would have been indicted by now and banished from the league upon conviction. His grand jury testimony never said he used anything. AND grand jury testimony is sealed--it cannot be released to the public.

Is he a jerk? Definitely. Does he play like a machine? No doubt about it! Listen: he was a stud in 98 when he had 500 homers and 500 stolen bases (before he started allegedly juicing). He is a 6 time MVP of the NL.

The man has incredible eye-hand coordination--any player who has seen him hit will tell you that.

Give credit where credit is due.

I used to be down on Barry for the steroid thing until Johnny Bench released a statement last week. He said he didn't blame Barry for doing what he could to improve himself since it wasn't illegal. He compared Barry's artificial enhancement to the Lasik surgery Tiger Woods had to improve his eyesight. No one is hollering for Tiger to be suspended because he just gained an advantage through artificial enhancement so perhaps Barry deserves heis moment in the sun. I do wonder if we would be all up in arms about the steroids if Barry wasn't a level 1A jerk.

He admitted to using "the clear" and "the cream" in his grand jury testimony in 2004. Yes, the testimony is supposed to be sealed. However Mr. Anderson went to jail for leaking the testimony to reporters. Both were designer steriods made by BALCO labs inc.

So if he says he did, I have to believe him.
