I want to get my learners permit in Virginia and I don't have my social security card...HELPPP

a birth certificate and a parent is all you should need for a permit but they will want it before you can get a license thats what i did for my son good luck

HI..........If you already have a Social Security number, go to any Federal Building, you can get another one in minutes. Most all DMV's will require a SS card, there's nothing esle that carries your number, that they'll accept......LATER

if you do not have your social security card by now you may want to order it from the local social security administration office in your area..there is nothing else you can use in it's place.

you need to go to the social security administration and they will issue another ss card

Go to your local SS office, and give them your SS number, with some form of photo ID, and they can verify your SS number.

There is nothing.
I have a metal card made years ago and they always accept that.
Go have one made..
