I want to get a motor from a 454ss pickup and put it in my 92 blazer k1500. I want to know if i will I have to make any changes to the blazer? Any tips will help!!!

other than new exhaust and a larger radiator.. it fits well

You'll need the motor and all the wiring and computer. Change out the motor mounts and probably the radiator {bigger engine= more heat}. Exhaust system and depending on your transmission maybe that also. The transmission will bolt up fine but there is a large power difference between the 454 and your stock engine. Front springs also as the 454 is much heavier.

You can do it, but remember your going to a big block and will need to make the proper adjustments to the front suspension. You may also want to get a differant trans. With the added horse power there will be other drive train issues. But get front torsion bars or springs which ever it has for a big block set up.

If you have the 454 pickup for parts this will be a bolt in. Exhaust and fuel managment from the ss and a little underhood wiring and you will be rolling.

Yes u can. U wont need to do changes to the body but u will need a bigger radiator. the engine will bolt right to the tranny but u may need new engine mounts. good luck have fun

It is the full size Blazer it should fit the 454 block is the same as the 350 block

Will bolt in & match your transmission.
Install a minimum 3 core radiator.
Will have to have the computer recalibrated.
