Oh I've heard this one.
I think it's an asian thing. lol.
Cuz I'm asian and so is this guy.
my mom saids it's un healthy because of the drastic temperature change or something like that

It isn't. However, I imagine that it's possible to be more susceptible to falling if you're in a groggy state. Also, if you took an extremely hot/cold shower right after waking up, it may make your heart rate change.

I don't, however, see any real "unhealthiness" to bathing as soon as you wake up.

It is only unhealthy to bathe right before you wake up. You might drown...

it isnt..may be coz u r in a state of trance or half asleep when u just wake up lol
