you don't need to put anything! just take your shower normally, you will bleed while under it of course, but it's ok...it is very important to keep a good hygiene while having your period, but use only water for intimate hygiene, do not use soap or any so-called intimate-hygiene product...they do all affect the natural balance of our vagina by affecting a friendly vaginal bacteria (Doderlein's bacillus) that keeps an ideal and protective pH...
so don't worry, wash yourself everyday with clear water, and dry your external intimate parts too, humidity can lead to developpment of mycosis...

Just take a shower and add a tampon/pad afterwards. If you take the stuff into the bathroom with you it will be easier. If you take a shower and get the cord wet it might break.

If one is bleeding heavily, then a tampon while bathing is okay. Otherwise, it's not necessary. I have had heavy periods in the past and I needed a tampon while showering/bathing.

You don't have to put a tampon in in order to take a shower. You can if you want to. it will make no difference. Getting the string wet will NOT make it break.

take it out and let the blod flow out if it wants too. The shower is actually the best place to have sex on your period too, but, I'm guessing you're probably too young to be concerned with that, lol.... just a little tidbit of information for when you're older ;-)

Just take a shower....don't wear tampons or anything. It's a natural tendency for your bloodflow to stop when you get wet. Trust me on this.....I always do this.....
