so I was stopped at red light, and this lady hit me from back. it was her fault, her insurance paying for the damage.
How do I get most from them? she hit my bumper, and the bumper was pushed in dent on both sides. the car is still drivable. nothing broke really, visible big dents, and body from back is pushed in. scratch on rear bumper.

how does the insurance companies work? what's gonna happen next?

I have minor pain in the neck, (like I was sleeping on wrong side.) so I didn't go the hospital that time.
are they going to pay for it? my health.

how do I get most money from them?

Call your insurance company if you haven't already.Between your company and hers the process will start with you getting instructions from them. They may come to you or they may ask you to take it somewhere for an appraisal. They may instruct you to take it to a particular shop for the repairs.
Your sore neck is meaningless at this point. If you feel you were injured to the point of asking for compensation then you need it evaluated by a doctor. You won't get any money for that without hiring a lawyer.

Her insurance company will pay the damages in order to restore your vehicle back to it's pre-accident condition. Any damage including medical bills that you have (whether you went to the doctor then or later) will be covered.

Basically any damages sustained from the accident are covered by her insurance. They will have an adjuster come out to write an estimate and then they will suggest a body shop or you can choose where you would like to have the car fixed. They can't make you use a shop but they typically have shops they work with that will get the car in and out faster.

They will provide you with a rental car while your car is being fixed.

It's not a big deal and sounds like a four or 5 day repair.

Wow...I'm glad you're taking the right course of action and only taking what you really deserve/need. I'm pretty sure you'll only get money for the bumper that she tapped. If you want more you'll have to sue, which I'm sure you won't hesitate to do.

Next time try "granny braking." Tap your breaks as you approach the light so the people behind you can see what you intend to do. I doubt she came out of nowhere and slammed into the back of you. Don't wait to use your brakes for the last 5 feet.

do you have full coverage insurance and did she ? cause if she did not have full coverage you are going to have to pay a deductable and you have to let the appraiser come see it and also go to a dr and let them know what happened her insurance company will have to pay your medical or yours will and your insurance company will settle it with hers .good luck .
