All of a sudden it just stopped working. My modem is fine, all lights are on and operational. Same for the Netgear router. The lights are all on, but for some reason my computer is not detecting the router!! I went through the troubleshooting procedure over 15 times and STILL wont detect it. It says to call Netgear. Any help? Thanks!!

Try this and see what happens ! Open I.E. and type http://192.168.1.1 (i.p. addy is netgear's default addy) and that should open your router configure page. BTW the password should be "admin" !

Try connecting the modem directly to you computer to check whether the computer lan card is not faulty, if it work direct, the router might need reseting or is faulty

you might need to reinstall the software if you had'nt tried it,i have a belkin that i had to reinstall for some reason.
