Two thoughts - first, you can't "regrease" a CV joint without removing the boot, and removing the boot means you have to replace it with a boot kit, and they are usually considered a temporary fix. Unless the CV joint is making noise when you turn, let it go.

The other thought is that CV axles are CHEAP, and on a 6 year old car, especially if you drive lots of miles, you can easily replace both axles for $150 if you do it yourself.

No. As long as the boot has no damage I.E. tears or cuts and the car has not been in water or anything the CV joints should be OK.

Absolutely. Do not wait until the bots crack to be sure you have fresh grease in there. You will only prolong the life of your cv by staying on top of regular maintenance. And when it is time get one with a fitting on it to make serviceing easier.

Race hard...

If you're boots are in good shape, then it doesn't need grease. The grease is still inside the boots. Leave it alone.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Good luck.
