How to write a block style formatted letter ?

I have a write a letter to the author of the book that I read but it required me to compose a block style formatted letter by using Microsoft Word. Can anyone tell me how to do that ?

use a word template or under the tools menu in word use the letter wizard, there is a basic block letter format found there

If you want your letter to look like "new paper print", ie, fill the entire space, the command is "Justify". Type your letter, then select all of it and hit Ctrl+J, or just click on the Justify icon in the tool bar.
