I have been married a little over 2.5 yrs and have had many problems.I was unaware of his expectations before we got married to have kids instantly and also had no idea he expected me to be a house wife.I felt like i was being forced fed all of this. This all caused a never ending cycle of fights and eventually my husband started having an affair with his secratary almost 1.5 into our marriage.I found out we seperated for 3 months during that time i started having a fling with an ex.bf.I ended it when my husband called to say he wanted to work things out.I found out I was pregnant with my now 1 month old baby son but put paternity on back burner to see if my marriage could work.Well my son has been in and out of the hospital alot doctors cant figure out why.So i was forced to tell my doctor that my son might not be my husbands.
Well a rush dna test was preformed and it turns out my son is not my husbands. Can the doctor tell my husband?

He will find out, and better to come from you than anyone. It will most likely cause divorce. The doctor can not tell him, but you should!

No! I work in the medical field and no one can tell anything about what you and your medical provider discuss. It's called patient confidentiality. The clinic I work in is Pediatrics and we also see teenagers. Alot of mom's want to bring there daughters in to see if they have been having sex yet, and even with a child there information is protected. The doctor cannot reveal to the parent if this child is having sex or not. So you don't have anything to worry about there. You need to just be honest, your husband will find out the truth-not from your doctor but from the courts. You can't hide the paternity test. Good luck

No, the doctors are not supposed to. If you do not tell, you will be caring a heavy burden for the rest of your life. You may not think about it everyday, and may just want to push the thoughts out of your head. But it will always be there. When your son smiles like his father, or does something to remind you. Sometimes telling the truth can be very hard... But to live a lie is worse. Be brave, it is hard but it is the best.

At present paternity tests are so easy to perform, so it's only a matter of time that your husband will find out. I think he should be told at some stage.

Generally doctors are not allowed to inform but at some stage they may be forced to do so, such as if your husband starts asking questions. As the legal father and guardian, he has the right to ask questions such as on medical records.

You need to sit down and let your husband know everything, sooner or later it's going to get worst and he would not forgive you for what you did. The sooner the better. And NO the doctors can't tell your husband unless you tell him to, but supposing he decide to bring it to another doctor's attention and he contact your home and your husband answer's the phone and the doctor tells him everything what would you do?

That is something you should think about, if you really love him you would tell him but it could be risky for you, when you tell him make sure there is someone in your house cause he might try to attack you.

GOOD LUCK

The doctor can make mention of the child's father in front of your husband. It wouldn't be outright telling him but if he has two brain cells to rub together he'll figure it out. You should tell him before anyone else has a chance to especially since he wanted to be the one that gave you a child.

I do not think so but you should. Shame one you for not telling him and shame on you for cheating! You made the mistake so own up to it. Life is alot of sh** and you are adding more sh** to the pile. Tell him the truth and then let him decide what he wants to do but you have more than just that to deal with. You aso have to tell the real father cause he has every right to know that he has a child. Girl I thought that most men were players but hell you are a female player and you are going to get burned!

No, the doctor can't tell your husband anything unless you authorize it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. Tell him the truth. I can't think of anything worse than lying about a child's paternity. It's damaging to both the child and your husband.

Tell your husband...your child's medical well being is at stake.

You guys are playing games with each other.

Be honest, put the cards on the table and accept the consequences.
