yes. Feds left the Lightning for the New York Islanders. He received a one year, 2.9 million dollar contract. Jay Feaster may it very clear at then end of the season that The Lightning and Fedotenko would be moving in different directions.

Joining the Islanders right now may gain Fedotenko plenty of extra ice time considering the veritable dearth of talent left on the island but that team is sinking, not rising.

Yes, thank god, I wish we could have moved Richards too (even though I like him a lot)...it just would have freed up some cap space and made room to give Lecavalier a better deal after this season.
