people that firmly stand up for guns are saying THE EXACT THING that others are saying with the NUKES.

ITS NOT THE GUNS or NUKES, that are a problem. IT IS THE PEOPLE-(TERRORISTS) or CONTRIES THAT "USE" THEM. (pakistan & osama bin laden)

lets get serious, it's just wrong. You can't expect others to change if we don't.

Yep, guns and nukes are the same in this sense because the reasons are the same. Its NOT the tools but the people that use them......and thats just plain STUPID.

Remove them both from society!

Guns and nukes are not the same and no one with any common sense would try to claim that they are. The idea that if you ban guns that all murders would miraculously stop is idiotic. If a person wants to kill someone they will use a car, a baseball bat, poison, a knife, a machete or any of the other million things that can be used to kill.
It all boils down to the peson who has control of the object, whether that is a gun or a nuke or a car or a knife or the cleaning agents in the house, and their intentions.
This is for "the truth hurts"--If you are going to argue against the 2nd Amendment at least know what you are talking about. Specifically, automatic weapons require a specific license to purchase and own and sale...you can just decide to sell it without making sure the person who buys it has a license as well. If "Tom" did sell the automatic weapon he purchased on Tuesday then he would go to jail for violating the law.
The 2nd Amendment gives me the rigth to keep and bear arms. I have the right to protect myself and my family from the dregs of society who are out on the street because liberals feel that prison isn't the place for them because they were from a broken home or some other such BS. I will use a firearm if necessary to protect myself and my family. If you want to make society safer, start teaching morals and values in schools again. Start making parents take responsibilty for their children...fix the causes of the problem, don't try to take away my rights as an American.

1 How long does it take for the Police to respond to a call from you?
2 What you going to do for the 45 min to and Hour (average time)till they get there while the criminal is raping your wife or beating you with a a baseball bat.
3 Never tried hunting with a nuke Hows that work? does it cook the deer for you?
4 How do you target shoot with a nuke? guess it would be hard to miss now wouldn't it?

some people take advantage of the 2nd Amendment.

Just recently found out that if you own a gun and lose it or it's stolen.....you do NOT have to report it.

With that said, how do we know that person didn't just sell it?......then it somehow ends up in the hands of a juvenile delinquent who kills someone in a drive by.

and so on and so on.....................the second Amendment was written years ago when people used swords and muskets...........when society graduated to automatic weapons, that Amendment should have been revised.


until then.......innocent people will keep losing their lives.


About the NUKES.........every country out there wants to have them to "protect themselves"........funny thing though, because it only takes a few for world destruction.........what will they be "protecting" when everybody is dead?



to the person below me....the guy who shot mr. jones got his gun from "tom" who practiced his 2nd amendment right and bought 3 automatic weapons on tuesday.....he then fell on hard times and decided to sell one to the guy who shot mr. jones on friday.

the point is.....we can go on and on and on about this all day.....but if guns did not exist, less people would die/be killed.......but the guy who shot mr. jones(if guns did not exist) could have killed him with a knife just as well......you get my drift........stop acting like if people took away your right to bear arms that people would not still die innocently!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to give you a theoretical situation.
Someone breaks into Jones' home and threatens him with a gun. When Mr Jones panics and runs away, he is shot and killed.
I he had access to a gun, he could have defended himself.
But a recent law prevented him from owning a gun.
If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
