That's not 100% right. The trueth is that:

1. Water flows and winds are deviated towards the east if these were otherwise cross the Earth from a Pole to the Equator - dued to Earth's rotation directly. If they would travelled from the Equator to a Pole they will be deviated towards the West - and that's how hurricenes travell the Earth: from the Equator towards one of the Poles.

2. Water and wind turbions spin anti clockwise in the southern and anticlockwise in the northern hemisphere - dued to the Coriolis effect, which is dued to Earth's rotation.

Now think what happens when a rotating wind (aka tornado, hurricane etc) travels in the northern hemisphere: it will rotate anticlockwise, being deviated towards the West. Now compose the two motions and you will see which side travels faster - when its motion is reported to a point located on Earth's surface. I guess it's the right side, because it's that side the wind blows towards the direction that hurricane moves as a whole; but that's true solely for a Northern hemisphere hurricane. This is 50% of the answer.

The other 50% is that, judging in an analoguous way, a Southern hemisphere hurricane will blow faster on its left side.

50% + 50% = 100%

It has to do with the rotation of the hurricane. The wind speed is highest in the direction that the storm spins.

I'm sure it has something to do with the current of the oceans simular to high winds due to storms at sea and things like that and the rotation that is continuous..

Look it up. You have a PC in front front of your face. It's only available on about 422,000 websites.
