I know this is gross but I am 35 weeks pregnant and can't see "down there" anymore. I used Veet once to remove the hair but was wondering if it's safe to use roughly once a week during pregnancy. Thanks for your help!

sometimes toxic fumes from such products can get into your lungs, then the blood stream, so use in a well ventalated area.

Try to keep the solution just on the hair, not to much on your skin, so it doesn't get absorbed into your skin and enter your blood stream as well.

As far as being safe during pregnacy, I don't know, I would call the 800 number on the bottle and ask them.

My question is, if you can't see the hair "down there" then why are you wanting to remove it? The doctors don't care.

As long as it doesn't bother you, smell wise or irritation wise, it's perfectly fine to use. I looked it up & everything I found says it's not absorbed through the skin. Personally, the stuff breaks even my legs out & doesn't remove all the hair, so I'm stuck with shaving by feeling around now!

I'm not sure what you think is gross...the pregnancy, the big belly, the pubic hair...all are quite normal. I wouldn't recommend using any chemicals on your body this close to delivery. Pubic hair is natural. Lighten up!

yes i think there is no problem in using veet, if you are using outside.
its better to use mirror while doing this activity or have some fun by asking yur hubby to do it for you :)

GOOD LUCK!

I'm not sure but I think it may say on the container not to use while pregnant. You may also want to check with your doctor. Personally I wouldn't use it.

I think it is safe to do this as what your refering to really doesnt have anything to do relating your pregnancy.

Just let it go until after the baby is born. Then you don't have to worry about it. Hope this helps.
