Is circumcission at the age of 20 is good for health.one of my riend has become new muslim.so his frens were telling him to do it.he is very much afraid of it.is it really safe to do that?

He is right to be afraid. Most Muslim groups do not require circumcision for converts because of the pain and high incidence of complications.

Circumcision is NOT safe! No male should be circumcised without a valid medical reason in which the foreskin is causing serious, chronic problems. Personally, I would seriously think twice about any religion that advocated self-mutilation. If God didn’t want men to have foreskin, we wouldn’t be born with it!

He should do some research and ask his doctors about it. I'm muslim and I was circumcized at a very young age. Him choosing not to get circumcized doesn't make him any less of a muslim.

tell him not to do in. be proud of being natural. If its because he has become muslim he need to check it out properly anyway. from what i have heard it isn't even in the Koran.

yes, i dont know if it hurts or not because i had it when i was a baby, but if he wants to do it then i think he should. let him be proud of what he has become.
