Anti-terror law is an advantage since it will eliminate or minimize the activities of terrorists. However, it could be used by the government to monitor the activities of persons that are critical of its policies.

Anti-terror law in the Philippines, I assume your a Filipino, affected by this terror bill being passed by none other than the President herself(PGMA).

As a Filipino myself, I am not much affected by the bill since we haven't yet seen its ugly face yet, for my own opinion why not try it first and let us see the result instead of complaining about it. Some urban organization such as Bayanmuna and Anakpawis show disgusted of the bill being approve by the government as fast as you could say hello. The different reason that it might curtain some rights of individual being branded as terrorist, although I agree that the word "terrorist" is still vague as far as the definition itself is concern. But nevertheless, why not give the government some chance to prove itself that they could eradicate this so called terrorist groups in our midst, one of them is the ASG(Abu Sayyaf) and the NPA. How strong is this bill we never know until we see it implemented.
