i HAVE A couple of LIFESTYLE questions that i NEED ANSWERING TODAY please?

Question

1) if you had to choose between only brushing your teeth once every week or wearing the same underwear (you can wear overgarments not just the pants) for 5 days continualy which one will you choose?
2) would you rather have a permanantly runny nose or your right eye covered in crusty conjunctivitus for a fortnight ? (you must choose only one you're not allowed both sorry)
3) Broken right arm or Broken left foot, which would you prefer ? (choose one or else)
4) Curry or a kebab ? (not optional only one or the other)
5) walk barefoot on very hot sand or very cold snow for 20 minutes?
6) lemon cheesecake or fresh fruit trifle ?

Some of the revolted reactions to question 1 are interesting. Has nobody here actually ever been REALLY poor? "When I were a lad..." toothpaste was for the middle classes and you'd have been kicked to death for admitting you knew what dental floss was even FOR. My gran never brushed her teeth a day in her life and still they lasted her all her days with neither a cavity, a filling or a cap. So I'd go for the teeth - at least you can positively flavour your mouith with drinks and/or gum or whatever. Vinegar pants, faaaar less negotiable and I don't know about it just being uncomfortable - could be talking rashes and chapping here people. Just owwwww.
2. Of course what we're faced with in questions 1 and 2 are an ongoing situation vs a short-lived one. Permanently runny nose - forever? - means you're never gonna sparkle in social circles and you're gonna be pretty pre-occupied. Two weeks of occular grimness - just resign from humanity for a fortnight, heal, get back and get on with it. Conjunctivite me man.
3. Oh blimey. Having broken my left foot a number of times, been there, done that, got the steel plate. Could do that again. Right arm, hell no - I highly favour the right arm in everything - writing, eating...everything. Sod that.
4. Curry, every time. Spoiled myself by watching The Life of Grime - kebabs from kebab shops? Never again. Curry at least you take your chances and the meat is what you think it is (irrespective of its genuine origin...if you think it's chicken, then it becomes chicken!)
5. My first instinct here was to go with the snow, but as a diabetic, I reckon I'd actually be better off with the hot stuff than running the risk of neuropathy and frostbite. It would SUCK, either way, but probably the hot sand for me.
7. Well, I never met a cheesecake I didn't like (to paraphrase Garfied), but right now, I reckon a nice bit of trifle would do me fine. Seem to have a problem equating lemon with dessert at the moment. (shrugs) What can I tellya, I'm an oddball.

1. brushing my teeth and I'll be very, very, very careful about toilet hygiene

2. runny nose - i love to read too much
I'll just stick a couple of tampons in my nostrils

3. left foot - i'm right-handed, plus the foot would keep me out of work and then I could read because I don't have a crusty eye

4. kebab - not too fond of curry so kebab me

5. cold snow - this would be far less painful, but I already have a broken foot so would have to hop on the good foot. what a sight that would be

6. fresh fruit trifle - I love cheesecake, but the lemon part would get old in a hurry. I'll just pick the fruit out of the trifle

are you working on a thesis or some other kind of reseach project?

Honestly, S, I swear you're getting too revolting for your own good. I won't even contemplate 1 and 2.

3. I've already had a broken left foot, so I can tick that off immediately.
4. Definitely curry - I love Indian food.
5. I've walked on scorching sand and know I couldn't keep it up for 20 minutes but could probably manage the snow.
6. Fresh fruit trifle ... but if it's a proper baked cheesecake, could I have a tiny bit too? Aw, go on.

10 I would choose to brush my teeth only once a week. (if I were allowed to use mouth wash) 2) permanently runny nose. ( I could always carry a box of tissues with me.) 3) broken left foot. ( I am right handed and I need my right arm)4 ) Kebab, 5) Hot sand 6)fresh fruit trifle.

Same underwear, ( that would permanently harm my teeth, but temporarily be uncomfortable with the underware)
Right eye covered ( could wear a patch) and my hands would be free
Broken right arm, could still get around easily and people are so good about helping when you have your arm in a cast,,with crutches the general public just seems to stare
Kebab, I'm just not a curry fan
Very hot sand..may end up with blisters but, it wouldn't be permanent like frostbite would....
Fresh fruit trifle...I prefer my cheesecake plain...

1) Underwear - people would know where the smell came from if you dont brush your teeth =P
2) Conjunctivitis - less annoyance to others, thus less harm to me =P

5) Snow - this should be fun =P
