Death

Well, unless we are a so-called "celebrity" we will only be remembered or looked at in some dusty photo album by relatives (oh yes, that's your great-great aunty so and so, don't know what she did) so we will all be forgotten eventually but death, now that one scares me as I have so much more I want to do here on this crazy planet!

My father is definitely scarier than both death and being forgotten.

your question remiinds me of a saying:
There is only one thing worse than boredom, and that is the fear of boredom.
what i am trying to say is . why should we live in any kind of fear? what is there to be scared OF? i am alive now and that's all I am concerned about, i will have no control over my being dead and certainly will have no control over other people's thoughts after I am dead.. if you do not want to be forgotten, then you need to remember others while you are alive. be someone that will be missed for the good in your heart and the love in your soul. but don't spend your time being scared of anything... its gonna be over before you know it. go out and live

Neither really. Sometimes death is welcomed, and being forgotten by the right people is a blessing!

The one, being forgotten, almost inevitably follows the other, death. Sad but true.

I always say when people tell me I'm being gossiped about "better to be talked about than forgotten."
