As Wayne Dyer says: If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition (not psychosis) is God talking to you.

You make write PSYCHOSIS as if psychosis is a bad thing. No prophet is accepted in their own country. People are not put away for mental health problems unless they present a danger to themselves or others. I have met people who believe that they see angels, and yet they are functioning fairly well in everyday life and hold respectable jobs. They don't go aroun telling everyone they see angels, only those they think would understand. maybe they do, maybe they don't, but they are very nice people and they are not hurting anyone. Maybe I think they are psychotic, maybe I don't. Their are a lot of things I may not agree with that people think and that people do. Psychosis is a word and its meaning is in the eye of the beholder. What we do with a person who has "psychotic" thoughts depends on what they do with it and how it affects society.

Today's social arrangements has its advantages and disadvantages. Unfortunately, there are some professionals who are atheistic and will not accept spiritual beliefs even in theory. Therefore, if you tell certain professionals that God is talking to you then there is the possibility they will say you have a problems with psychosis or something like that.

Have you tried keeping your discussions with God to yourself? If you have to tell someone you need to make sure it is someone you can trust. Do you have any theistic spiritualist friends?

If human beings seize you mumbling and don't see each individual listening, they're going to call that psychosis, too! that's why Jesus reported "flow into your closet." possibly we could constantly shop the different ingredient "interior the closet," too, as quickly as we are dealing w/ unbelievers.

I think it's only called psychosis when you don't believe.

Hearing voices is a delusion, but thats for people who hear voices which are really not there. That is often confused with prayer, belief, and worship which is not a delusion but rather religion.

LOL, good one, the classification truly doesn't sound proper. Good work.
