I'm a guy I don't have a husband, but I can speak from a guy's point.

Sit down with him and directly ask him "Why have you been home so late".

Point and prod a bit.

If he ever responds with anger or gets nervous, get real suspicious.

If he responds with anger and walks away, he is doing something he should not be doing.

But then again, he may also have a good reason for it. If it's legit, it's legit. But if he hasn't told you why when he comes in late, there's a problem.

What's done is done. If I were your wife, I'd have killed you before the first week was over.... The only excuse was if your work schedule demanded that. Now, since you're not dead yet, you could plan a romantic get away for both of you. Do something really romantic anyway. And promise it would never happen again

I would expect him to offer a reason for his being late the first and every time it happened. If the answer was feeling like BS after the third time I would ask him straight out if he was seeing another woman, doing drugs or contract killing.

I would expect to be answered honestly. If it still felt like BS I would begin to ready an exit from the marriage plan...and follow through with it.

Well first of all, why is he coming home late? Is it because of his job or is he just going out. If it's for work it's understandable (If you know that it's the truth). My husband is military and he has to stay LATE sometimes but as long as I know he is at work (yeah I call! haha) I'm okay with that.
Now, if he isn't at work, you need to talk to him because that just isn't right and if he's doing something he shouldn't be like cheating, you need to leave.

Let her know she is important. Not just with words, but with actions.
If it is just work keeping you out, then fine. If it is a women, then decide whether you want a wife or not and stop jerking her around. If it is going out with buddies, then make your wife a priority and get out with her for some fun.

Start romancing your wife. Apologize. Acknowlege her feelings. Act like someone who loves their wife. She'll come around.

I wouldn't be there when he got home!! That is if he didn't have a valid reason for being out late!

The first time he pulled that stunt would be the last time. He'd be picking his **** up from the curb.
