I had a friend work for weeks on an idea for our company that would save us big $'s! It was unique, creative, and low cost to implement. It was one of those ideas that guarantee a promotion. He pushed it through the proper channels and got a big surprise.
His supervisor told him it would never work, then stole the idea and took it to the head man himself. The supervisor was promoted and then during a big company get together the Prez patted him on the back and told how the supervisor came up with an idea that will make the company big $'s.
I stood up right there and told how the super said it was a bad idea then stole the idea. I said stealing someones stuff is bad but to steal an idea was the worst.
The prez gave the super the most awful stare I've ever seen. That was the last time I saw him, check that, I saw him working at a "Wal Mart" in the electronics section. Made my day! My friend who was quiet during this time got the promotion and I went with him right up the ladder! Some times it is right to rain on a parade!
