Sadly it's a case of where is the sun in UK? And the clouds are blocking the starlight!!
But there were some spectacular sunsets a couple of weeks ago - purple skies so beautiful.
The last proper sunrise I saw was from my balcony in Gran Canaria - it was beautiful!
Come back Sun ... all is forgiven!

I went swimming last night under starlight. It was beautiful. Even saw a falling star.

probably about 6 years ago, i worked in ibiza and after we finished work we would all go to the rocks over the sea and watch the sunrise and drink beer or wine before retiring to our beds for the day!
bliss, unfortuantly not the weather in the uk to do it too often

The other night when my car broke down in the middle of our country lane three mile from our village, and it was peeing down too, but i must admit the sky was lovely with all the stars twinkling.

last night i walked under star light, my lazy pig husband never took the trash out so i had to do it in the rain too i might add

the sunday before last i was awake *all* night crying.I thought i had lost the person i love and just laid there all night waiting for the sun to come up.It was the lonest few hours of my life to date.But everything worked out for me so i'm okay now. ;)

I do that everyday! I wake at 3am. Take an early jog, and see the sunrise!
