well i strongly agree, take my point!
more than the usual traffic.....
its a problem anywhere you go. Especially in metro manila, the traffic jam here is too heavy that you can roll on your blanket and take a nap.
more than the usual pollution....
the philippine is one of the best paradise in the world. Sad to say also one of the dirtiest place, just look at the pasig river,,,so dirty, and the whole m3etro is disgusting site.
more than the usual population...
there may be a lot of vacant land, still we can't change the fact htta our country is over populated.
more than the usual poverty.....
there are a lot of people in our country that are below the poverty line, just like me( 50,000 is the minimun income to live a normal life). Some of our people suffer from starvation, eating even cartoons,.
more than the usual crime....
in the philippines, you can witness all kind of crimes...

more than the usual freak people......
the only race that would borrow money just to spend for fiesta celebration. People that would leave their babies just to see their favorite stars,
more than the usual terrorist....
in asia philippines is the haven for terrorist,,,J.I, ASG, MILF, MNLF, CCP-NPA, i also considered the ff. as terrorist because they poison the wicked mind of the filipinos: anakbayan, bayanmuna. gabriela, anakpawis. If im the president I would build the biggest jail in the world to be located at the foot of the mt. mayon volcano that would be their place , so that if the mayon errupt they are the first victim..
more than the usual mongoloids....
the only people endowed with so much sense of humor.
p.s mongoloid- scientificaly speaking we are from this category of people, together with other people in asia.

it is true that we need to improve a lot of what is happening in our country. by actively participating on how government should address our problems should take precedence over our selfish interests.**

More than the usual - - - people who try to see wrong even in valiant efforts at getting tourists to appreciate our country. People who call attention to all the little errors, in self flagellation. Why do you revel in these thoughts?
More than the usual share of critics. I am not a fan of this government, but I try to help from a private sector perspective. Complaining, and "broadcasting" the complaint, will not achieve anything.
More than the usual degree of hate. There is a Yahoo asker who hates the MILF, CPP NPA, and also the anakbayan, this and that. Hates both the left, right, and center. And has the gall to laugh about his situation.
More than the usual share of bad grammarians. I could make a slip or two, but not ever say our people eat "cartoons". He he he .
Yes you might receive (this is the correct spelling, not recieve) a notice of violation. Of violating your own race by complaining too much. Are all people from Leyte like that?

It's not only the Philippines that is beset by traffic congestions. Other parts of the world have the same problem, too. Do not attribute all the pollution in the world to our country alone, others do have more pollution that we do. If I have to refute all the things you said about my country, it will take us probably days before you give up and say "Enough!" I don't think you have been around the other cities in the world for you to conclude the Philippines is so unfortunate to have all these disgustings things. Philippines is the least of all the things you said, period.

I can only say that for my own opinion your country is one of the most beautiful in the world, and also the friendliest people. terrorism is everywhere, come visit us in the USA we are always under terrorist alerts, and have tons of pollution, poverty and people living in the streets starving, unrest and constant disagreement with our people and our government, everyone thinks this is the land of milk and honey and that it is the land of freedom,,, Like I say come visit here and i think you will be glad to be back home in the Philippines, at least you never had a 911 attack there and Korea doesnt have nuclear missles pointed at you, and Iran hasnt vowed to destroy your country, This great USA is slowly going down the tubes. So our country may be bigger but no better than yours, and our problems....are on a much bigger scale.

Sad those scenery are true in the Philippines...
Sad still because you only view your country to be in that horrible situation...
I have been in few countries and all I can say is Philippines is not alone to facing this kind of situation.
Just I am wondering, why there are so many bad publicity about Philippines and Filipino people where in fact every country is facing terrible situation too? Crimes, corruption, slavery, pollution, prostitution, etc...

Hmmm.... it's quite hard to not agree on what you said... I mean that's all true... nobody can deny it... you know, if we want to boost our tourism industry, we should first start improving one place where most foreigners first arrive at: the old NAIA airport! C'mon, you can't deny it's one of the worst airports ever! Compare to Kuala Lumpur's, Singapore's, Bangkok's, Hong Kong's and even Jakarta's and you'll see what I mean. Terminal 2 is certainly an improvement, but it is exclusively used by PAL. And about Terminal 3?! When will it ever open?!

I think you need to travel more to other 3rd world countries so that you'll know how fortunate you are that you reside in the Philippines.
Philippines has its good and ugly places - just like any other country.
