Tigger was introduced in A.A. Milne's "The House at Pooh Corner" in 1928, which would make him 79 years old this year. Disney gives Tigger's birth year as 1968 because it was the first year he appeared in a Disney-related production.

Its the same amount of stripes he has, one for each year. But when i try to count them he say " the wonderful thing about tigger, tiggers a wounderful thing" then pissses off bouncing off before i can catch him.
