Hi small,
In a way, u made a point here..Yes, sincere & serious guys are in some ways more boring because of their consistency.

Let me share with an article i wrote :

"Reliable persons r rarely exciting. They will give u consistent service but will not make u jump up in awe, they will not make ur adrenaline soar high..In 1 word most of them r BORING. Jas like a routine 9 to 5 job, they will give u consistent income but that’s all there is. We people hev different needs almost on a daily (infact I would say “on an hourly”) basis..On d contrary the exciting people r basically UNPREDICTABLE, these r d SPONTANEOUS DOERS..(by d way MOST MONUMENTAL DISCOVERIES, MASTERPIECES came from these types of people), d GENIUS belongs in these category. We need a dose of both kinds to create a BALANCE IN OUR LIVES. A person who will give u consistency can BORE U TO DEATH, while a spontaneous person can either SCARE U, DISAPPOINT U or (hev 2 accept d entire package) TO DEATH. We need a WALK-IN-D-PARK just as much as a ROLLERCOASTER RIDE once in a while. We have to accept that both types are integral in our lives".

When we say someone is 'serious', we usually mean 'too serious'

What women & men are looking for is balance.

So, someone who's always serious is annoying, but so is
someone who can't get serious.

Sincereity just means "What you see is what you get."

We value sincerety to the extent of being honestly presented something we desire.

But if you're a boring, overweight, unemployed drug addict, being 'sincere' about your utter undesireability isn't going to make you sexier.

If your friend says a girl has a 'good personality', you suspect this means she's not pretty.

Likewise, if a guy is described as 'Sincere and serious', we suspect this actually means he's uptight and undesireable.

Hello friends:

Sincere and serious people of either sex will be less popular INITIALLY.
However those that hang out long enough to understand you, will never want to leave you.
That holds true for both romantic relationships and friendships.

To extend you question a bit the same holds true for people who are painfully honest.
Also to those of us who are seeking true love instead of sex play.

The light hearted carefree initial contact is better done by those who only want to play.

That should tell you to be careful of the people that at first contact appear unchanged by your presence

It may be harder for you to meet someone that is altered by your being there. As that communication is a bit of a leap over the normal introduction. It is harder to appear carefree when you are effected by the presence of another human being.

Many of us are still effected by the presence of other human beings. The excessive population makes some people COLD to the initial contact.

No, that is not true.

"Sincere and serious" is always more popular in the long run for any meaningful relationship with either gender.

Think about it; How many insincere and never serious people are YOUR friends?

A sense of humor is good. But that doesn't preclude the ability to be serious when it is proper.

Sincerity, and appropriate seriousness without being moribund are attractive traits.

I don't know what guys like these days. Girls and women all don't like the same thing.

But a certain type female human prefers sincere, honest guys for marrying, and a wink and sly smile kind of guy for most other purposes.
