Hello. I have a small patch of grass I want to relocate to a boarder that cuts into the lawn and I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice as to the best method of bringing up the already existing lawn, there is lots of advice about laying!

You need a machine that lifts turf! usually available from good hire shops.

alternatively, if its not a huge area, how about just digging in the current lawn and seeding the area where you want it. I did some a couple of weeks ago and it has germinated brilliantly in this weather!

the easiest and cheapest way is to dig it out . with your spade mark out by the square foot then scoop it out about 3" below the surface
