Guns should be banned. Period. The only thing is that most people here in States are so screwed up mentally that firearms are NEVER going to be banned. It is a pointless discussion.

Kids die from firearms every single day. The fact that the society doesn't give a **** about it is another story.

Prosecute the existing gun laws on the books and criminals / gang bangers to the full extent of the current laws.

Unfortunately, Congress (46 Democrats, 5 Republicans) voted to NOT BAN gang members, convicted felons or terrorists from receiving full amnesty in the Bush / Kennedy / McCain Leave No Illegal Alien Behind Amnesty Act.

Congress wants to import the gang members and murderers who will commit the crimes America won't do.

Most of the teens and children killed each year in the statistics are much older than you would think. They are gang members and drug dealers/addicts. If minors really had to do hard time for gun crimes the death rate would drop substantially.

It isn't Congress fault its all these kids wanting to be gangsters so they die that way.Man when I was a kid and you got into a fight that is what it was two people fist fighting ,now its glocks, and AKs,so they brought it on themselves. If congress tightens the guns for honest people to get, that just means all the bad guys will be armed, and the good guys wont

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

I think some of the existing federal firearms statutes violate this, but you take what you've got... and you fight to keep the rest.

We should obviously ban guns, because that will actually remove all guns from the US.

Then we can ban cars, no more deaths from vehicle accidents.

Solution: Ban hand guns. Literally, their ONLY use is killing people.

oh and please, don't even be bringing that 2nd amendment crap in my house. the 2nd was written in a time when a bunch of random farmers could overthrow a government with their rifles and pitchforks. That's it's purpose--to ensure that people can forcibly overthrow the government if neccessary...

BUT--the government has nuclear submarines and F-22's. The only thing your pistol is good for is shooting somebody, whether on purpose or on accident, so let's get rid of it!
