well im 16 now and 17 in august and ive read many books from someone who is considered to be the first criminal profiler and created the BAU. his name is john douglas and his co-author is mark olshaker. ive read almost all his books and i was thinking about becoming a criminal profiler.

i have a 3.9 GPA right now and am in 3 clubs but play no school sports and haave about 70 communtiy hours(if this helps?) and im a rising senior and ive taken psychology in high school but it only goes one level. there are also no criminal justice classes at my school.

does anybody have advice on what college to go to for law/psychology? or what classes to take in college? or any steps, pretty much anything would be helpful thanks

I would go for a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice/Forensics

Then go for a Masters in Psychology and finish your degree in Crimininal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology.

While doing this - seek out internships with local law enforcement. This will help build your practical experience.

To be a criminal profiler you would need a minimum of a PhD in Clinical Psychology, preferably with a Forensic emphasis.

You will also need to keep your background squeaky clean, to work for the FBI.

Try crimelibrary.com and look up the FBI and see if their website has any recommendations.
