They could be at the coastline occasionally so it would largely depend on your luck. Though it is said that white sharks do not prefer to eat people because the sharks' digestion is too slow to cope with the human body's high amount of bone and low amount of muscle and fat they still could attack and leave you after the first bite but you could suffer from bleeding and serious injury. So just be carefu and watchful while on the beach.

I would suggest learning to write properly first.Going to a foreign country is hard enough even if you speak and write English properly.I'm Greek and I had a really hard time understanding what exactly you wrote here the way you wrote it.Trust me,if you come to Greece and write everything school related like this it's not going to be pretty... Back at your question now,yes you are describing Santorini.Which is probably one of the most touristic islands in Greece. It's packed with tourists(been there this summer). It's very beautiful of course! And there are no sharks(Greece has no sharks,no sharks that are dangerous to humans at least). You should check with your school. Not all high schools in Greece are involved in the student exchange program(if there are any). You got more chances to end up in a big city like Athens,Thessaloniki,Patra or Heraklion than to end up in a small island with small villages like Santorini.Do some research on both countires and possibilities, see which one you think you can get the most out of(I mean,I'm guessing you aren't only considering this because it will be nice to live in a foreign country with lots of beaches and tourists but also in order to learn something out of this whole thing, right?) and then go there and have a great time!!!

yes they do attack above 1.5 meters but this is very rare since sharks are normally deep water animals and when they do attack its probably because it smelt a trace of blood or it has mistaken the human for seals or other animals that are usually in shallow waters
shark do not eat humans(well at least they don't intend to) they only attack humans when they are mistaken as prey
