we're both not good in maths...but i got it simple if it's about convertion...okay, standard form of lemgth is meter

consider 1 km = 1000m

now, we are going to convert 10,100km to meter

10,100km x 1000m/1km =

cancel out the km sign

10,100 x 1000m/1 =

10,100 x 1000 =

10,100,000 then adapt the unit which is "m"

so the answer is 10,100,000m or meters

OR

if you still want it in km and easier to write:

1.01 x 10^4 km

In standard form you must first of all find a number between 1 and 10.
This number is 1.01
10100 = 1.01 x 10^n
Now decimal point has to be moved 4 places to the right and therefore n = 4
10100 km = 1.01 x 10^4 km

This is easy.
Usually in standard form, it is represent in SI unit. Here, the SI unit is (m). So;
10 100km = 10 100 000 m
The answer should be in the form 1.01 X 10 to the power of ? m.
To change 10 100 000 to 1.01, the point move 7 digit to left, so the answer is 1.01 X 10 to the power of 7 metre.

If it wants in km, it's 1.01 X 10 to the power of 4 kilometres.

A number written in standard form is written in the form:

A x 10^n {A times ten to the power of n.}, where A lies

between 1 and 10, and n is an integer, so the answer is:

1.01 x 10^4

10,100 kilometres
=1.01 * 10^4 km
This is probably what they meant by standard form.

in 1 km there is 1000 m
to convert into lower unit, we need to multiply

so the given is 10,100 km
10100 * 1000 = 10,100,000 m

The number is already written in standard form.

Are you wanting it in expanded notation, or do you want to convert KM to some other measure?

Otherwise, the standard or regular way we write numbers is already in front of you.

Show the way....you are there.

¡Venga hombre! You're in there now. You don't need to get out of yourself to find the answer. Ten thousand one hundred kilometers in your inquiry is the very standard form.
