In the US there are combined programs where it is 6 years out of high school, but generally you get your BS in chemistry or Biology then apply to Pharmacy school. Pharmacy school is another 3-4 years. So 6-8 years total. Pharmacy school is not conducive with parenting unless dad is going to do most of the parenting.

It will take you approximately six years, depending on how many hours you take each semester getting the prerequisites done. Pharmacy school can be difficult at times. I would highly recommend not starting a family until after graduation. Good Luck!

If you do the straight 6 year program, you'll be 24.
If you get a bachelors, you'll be 26.
The people with children tend to struggle more in the program, and have lower GPAs.

If you really plan on doing this, your going to have to major in biology I believe. If you go to a good University they will be some of the hardest classes of your life. You will not have time to be a parent.
