The first response from Tidetime is right. As early humans roamed out and away from each other, the environments they endured - isolated from other groups in other environments influenced variations. An example would be the animals of Australia. They evolved in isolation from the rest of the world and are now unique to only that continent. Their evolution was isolated and was free to take it's own course. On a much smaller scale, isolated evolution examples can be found on some islands, and inaccessible places like remote mountain interiors too. With humans, one aspect is the adaptation of dark skin and eyes which better deflect the harmful direct sunlight near the equator. People who have spent thousands of generations away from the equator lost that adaptation.

Differences are what keeps reasonably intelligent people from becoming bored. If we were all alike, it would bring out the worst in people. I know about prejudices and those that practice it find safety by keeping others just like themselves all around them and as a group they challenge anything different. That is ignorance. Those people that are intelligent, educated and traveled celebrate the differences in people. Be sure to get the best education you can swing. It pays off big time and in many, many ways.

When we learn to live in harmony with the different ethnic and religious beliefs, then we will be given more to discover, remember the stars? they have not been discovered. Sure we travelled within our solar system at great cost. Monetary I mean and lives lost, but we are by no means sophisticated enough to discover other worlds, not by our own Earth's history, for the blind sighted manner of the 17th and 18th centuries of devide and conquer won't apply to alien nations I'm sure.

Why should we all be the same? Why should we all be one race? Do people think that if we were all the same there will be less violence in this world. That we would all come together as one. I don't know why we all different, but I'm glad that we are. The world would be pretty boring if we weren't.

You named three differences, and left out 45 billion similarities. We are all more the same than we are different.
