it seems sort of arbitrary, obviously the mets one costs 270 thats sort of understandable but then

Twins $ 230

Braves 230

Orioles 200

White Sox 230

Reds 250

Indians 270

Marlins 250

Tigers 210

A's 200

Astros 280

D-rays 300

what the hell? why is this?

interesting sportsfan but seriously, how is that fair? shouldnt they all be priced equally? because who is to say what costs more, it seems rather random, I personally dont see how a the Drays can cost 100 bucks more than an oakland A's jersey, im not saying theyre taking advantage of people, but they could adjust the prices according to market size and wealth, but then again are there rules against that?

I always thought it was pretty much based on team popularity but I just checked MLB shop and saw that the D-Rays were $250 for a personalized authentic and yeah that is weird. Well I don't know the answer to that question but if you are looking to save some money go to a different place to get the jersey. I use http://www.triplethreatsports.com/ and they do a fantastic job. They still have the difference in prices between teams but they are always less than MLB shop.

Like everything else in the commercial market place it all comes down to supply and demand. Every team will price their merchandise at the highest level they believe they will be able to sell. If it is not moving they will lower the price. This is economics 101 in a free market place.

The action is even higher as technological innovation pushes ahead and far more people today are observing Tv on their Pc. Of course, for those who have cable or satellite Tv, you'll be able to enjoy whatever is on ESPN - hopefully it is your team that's playing, but no guarantees!

I dunno. With the D-rays they might be more expensive 'cause they don't sell as many. They aren't that much in demand.
