It may not cost anything. for all the hype, Bush failed as a pure running back last season. in fact, sharing time, joseph Addai was a much better pure running back.

Bush was used as a receiver.

If McAllister gets injured, Bush has to carry the load full time, I think he will get injured.

I thinka good average to consider is no less than 20 carries a game for a premier back, and one would up that to at least 25 carries a game for a premier back.


In college, Bush had LenDal White to split time with. Lendale did the blocking, Bush carried roughly 15 times a game.

One good tackle on knee injury he'll lose some speed and elusiveness.

I really don't see Bush as a successful RB in the league 5 years from now.
