it can, but most hymens stretch enough to let something the size of a tampon by without breaking.

Honestly though, if it came down to either keeping my hymen, or breaking and from using tampons, I would break it and use tampons. Tampons are one of the best things ever invented and totally useful, hymens aren't useful for anything really, they just hurt and get in the way. That said, you can most likely keep your hymen and use tampons. Don't worry too much if it does break though, you're still a vrigin.

yes. Every girl/woman has differnt anatomy and where the hymen sits varies. ON some women it sits very low and this can result in a "cherry popping" from a tampon.

im sure it could, but to get technical you can pop your own cherry by doing arobics, bike riding, etc. but "virginity" answer would be no. only insertion can do that one

Possible, but unlikely. It really doesn't matter. Alot of things can break a hymen, but you are a virgin until you have sex.
