Yes, teenage years are the most confusing, the most frustrating. It can be great fun but also the hardest time of your life. Believe me, any older person should have some sympathy. We've all been there.
The whole idea of being a teenager is to find out what YOU are and be that. You should trust yourself and your own judgement, and not get pushed around by peer pressure. People who are your friends, your -real- friends, will like you for who you are. People who don't like you for who you are will not like you anyway if you try to be who you're not. So I would say don't try to be a Goth or a Prep, just try to be YOU.
Style is nice, I mean different people look better in different kinds of clothes, and its okay to experiment or try a new look or whatever. But you should realize that it's just a -game-! Dress how you are comfortable and don't worry so much what people think.
A dog or cat makes a great pet. Why is that such a difficult question? 8^) Cats are cooler, more fun to watch, I think. Dogs are more loving and affectionate, more reassuring, because your dog thinks you are God, so it's good for your ego. Dogs are more work to take care of. Cats take care of themselves.
Think about this. In three years you will be 18--old enough to get married or vote or go to college or get a job. You will be a completely different person than who you are now! You have three years to get ready to be that person, and at this point that is your main job. I was just completely lost when I was 15 and 18 sort of snuck up on me when I wasn't ready. But you will do better.

It's only confusing because teenagers are being thrown into an unnatural society... really, you aren't going be 85 years old and be thinking, "I super regret NOT buying those $125 jeans at the mall that one time..."
Don't worry so much about the stereotypes, they form when people of similar interests start copying each others' behaviors. People don't have to belong to just one, or any at all. You can be a drifter, and you don't have to understand it.
You'll understand yourself waaaaay better in ten years. In fact, most people seem to see a vast improvement within three years. Don't worry too much, it may be confusing, but it's just going to be that way.

Breath.... Relax.........
no your not supposed to be this tight...... your just like my daughter... she talkes to a couselor once or twice a month to help her along with this anxziety........ you may want to talk to your mom about something like that and see if their insurance will cover such a meeting.... and being a private school that could all ready be available for you...
I bet you have a good musical talent or draw etc.. your using that part of the brain and like order... and sometimes .. you can't have order... Kaos can be a form of order and while hormones are changing our minds chemistry, disorder and confusion would be a normalcy for this age....
but talking with a live person can be benneficial.. and you may need to do that a couple of times...
good luck...

You are a very smart 15 year old..heres the deal..you need to come up with answers to all of this, so here's how you do it. Prioritize, Prioritize, Prioritize. Confusion is not good and is not healthy, I would talk to your parents and let them know whats going on and work with them on what needs to come first on the priority list and how to handle the situation. If they are like my parents, they will let you know that you are not alone in the way you feel and that they went though this as well. I would recommend one day at a time, you have a lot of living left to do.

Honestly, just be yourself. If you like animals, devote time into them. Do what makes you feel good, & don't worry about all the cliques at your school, just be you. All that stuff never really matters in the long run.
Don't be confused... just be you.

Whoa, don't get all freaked. NOOO you shouldn't devote all your time to worrying about other people, focus on school or something and you should wear nice clothes, it wouldn't hurt if they were cute, and choose friends you are comfertable with. But whatever you do, DONT try to change yourself to try to fit in. It's normal to be confused. But don't worry so much.

You should consider first your pet options, dogs and cats are the norm, but lizards and snakes are easy to care for and fun to watch grow, i think all you can really consider is which would be easiest to have sex with, dogs love to go down on girls provided they are intised with something, i.e. meat or mayonaise, but you can use a snake in exotic ways as well, hope this helps, LOVE and fellow dog humper

It's ok to be confused. You have many options, and many emotions.
What you need to do is figure out what is right for you. It's confusing, I'm sure, but you have to decide, how do you want to portray yourself.
You shouldn't be so confused, but you have to make some decisions. Your image will affect how people feel about you, like it or not.

Just be yourself. Do not be a follower. People will like you for who you are not because of what you where or if you're a type of person in group. Those that like you based on that stuff really do not like you. As for pets...I have a big dog and two cats. I hope that helps....
