whwn teachers gossip about students ? do they reveal the students name to their colleagues?

More when we talk about positives than when we talk about negatives. My colleagues are always asking, "Have you had XXXX in class? He is really bright!" When they complain about someone, though, it is usually, "Oh, my God! I have this one guy in class who just never listens and then asks about what I just finished explaining!" If, by gossiping, you mean non-academic information, that rarely happens. I've almost never discussed a student's personal life with a colleague. The only exception is students who dress inappropriately in class. Some of my colleagues are really embarrassed by this, and it does get discussed every once in a while.

I've heard teachers gossip like no tomorrow with names and anything else you could throw in there even parents.

Once in school me and my friend were talking about a bunch of teachers.
Well a teacher overheard and we got in big s**t with the teachers we mentioned, Which is kind of tacky if you ask me since it just proves how loudmouth the teacher staffroom can get.

I'm sure they do. I use to be "teacher's pet" to this one teacher in particular and would hang out in her classroom. I constantly heard her and her friend (also a teacher) talking bad about students. I learned so much dirt on these kids from them it's unbelievable. So yes, it happens.

Yes, we tell what this one or that one did in class kind of as a warning to the next teacher...and we call names!

teachers r freakin retarded i had this really mean spanish teacher and i couldnt stand her she was freakin white and a spanish teacher she would say ro ho not rojo or pear ro instead of perro im not tryin to hate on white people im just sayin y be a spanish teacher if u cant pronounce it right and anyway i wrote a note to my friend talkin about her and she tried to take up my note but i new she was gonna take it up cuz she kept lookin at me and i didnt care i was just trying to tick her off and igot an office referal cuz i refused to giv it to her and i ripped it up and threw it in the trash well she took it out of the trash and taped it together and put it on the black board and i had written im ready for cristmas break so i dont hav to see her ugly face and all the kids thought i was talkin about them and stole sum of my stuff and i sat right next to the teacher so i kno she saw them but she didnt care well ya its not helping u but i wanted to tell u cuz im very proud of that story sum1 needed to set her straight cuz no1 likes her anyways
