Its like The Giant having the title. Never was a big fan of Paul Wight, but hey he's (allegedly) 7 feet and they oversold his weight too as being 500lbs (yeah right... NFL offensive linemen are just as big but there isn't a single one of them even close to that) but he's similar in that he's so huge that everyone else looks tiny compared to them.
Can't have the biggest and baddest guy on the block not win something, otherwise it makes every other wrestler look bad.
Not to mention when he drops the title, that face is going to get a huge push. They are setting this up for a lot of merchandise sales. T-shirts, toys, posters... and I'm sure whoever they chose to beat him will get a new catchphrase.

The Great Khali should not be the WWE champ,there are so many other talented wrestlers that deserves the belt.I think he needs to improve on his wrestling skills before he is able to be the World Heavyweight Champion.

Khali is garbage, and his name on that big gold belt is a disgrace to men like Race, Flair and just about everyone else who has ever held it.

It sucks he dosn't have exciting matches and cause he didn't do anything to deserve it and he can't have Smackdown's best title.
