this will sound retarded but can you damage your insides with a tampon?

YES.... if you insert a tampon to far (with a lot of force) you can bruise you cervix, if you leave it in to long you can give yourself an infection, and/or get toxic shock syndrome (read the back of the tampon box for more info) also if the tampon is dry and you pull it out with to much force you can tear the inside of you vaginal wall. i find that the tampons with the cardboard applicators scratch my insides. if you are not sexually active a larger size tampon can hurt to wear, and also loosen your vaginal canal.

Lol... No you cannot. It's like a vessel and there is actually a convenient wall that protects your organs. However, if it hurts then you can experice "toxic shock syndrome" which is more popular than you might think. So, if it hurts, take it out and get the pads.

u can make little cuts inside if you pull it out before its saturated, but it usually won't hurt u. but it can result in toxic shock syndrome (tss). read the paper inside the tampon box or check out tampax.com for more info...

nope no you cant. they are perfectly safe. but do look up tss. if you arent careful you could get it and die. but as long as you take care of yourself and watch out for it you will be fine
