Houses and automobiles to go with a track are listed as HO but what about models that aren't normally associated? I'm thinking 1/72 but I may be way out.
Cheers from Oz

"HO" scale trains are roughly 1/87.

HO scale is EXACTLY 1/87 !!

1/72 is a 'larger' scale, and can look very out of place. There are TONS of buildings and cars in HO scale out there on the market !! I should know... I am an N-scale modeller (1/160) and there is a smaller selection and variety than HO.

I recognize you're in Australia... but here are some internet links:

Also... visit your local hobby-shop, meet the folks working there... and ask to see the CATALOGS !

As the others say: 1:87. Something that could cause confusion is that in the past 1:76 scale models (including trains) were also called OO/HO scale. For instance by airfix.
