Pedophiles (male and female) are in every profession but more likely to be in one dealing with children.

I'm pretty sure that the percentage of female pedophiles is much lower than the percentage of male pedophiles. But Dateline does not air their stories in any kind of equitable way... they choose stories that will get people to watch, so they can tell their true customers (the advertisers) that they have a large audience. So they try to put stories on there that people will find watchable.

Because the Catholic Church doesn't allow women to become priest, (but the Nuns sure to beat a lot of kids with rulers and such), nor does the Boy Scouts allow women to become Scout Masters. Teaching is still a predominately female profession, and since secretaries don't have access to minors, you will see it more among the teachers I guess.

It seems like there's been a lot of female teachers, taking advantage of male students.
