Get yourself tested and isolate what your allergies or intolerances are. They may be avoidable.
Homeopathy is great, for allergies you would be best seeing a homeopath and getting treated constitutionally, they could take your case properly. Sometimes if its hayfever for example it can take a full 2 years to completely be free of symptoms, but the relief can start almost immediately. Homeopathy treats the symptoms that individuals show so for example there could be 10 people allergic to Willow tree pollen but all showing slightly different reactions and so each needing a different remedy because the homeopath would be looking at those reactions not the 'illness' or 'dis ease' specifically. This type of prescribing would give you long term healing which would be better for you in the long run. You could treat the acute symptoms but i would strongly recommend the long term solution.

This is a tough one. I have been against medicine for a long time, but once I started getting sinus infections 3-6 times a year, then 6-10/yr. it got to be a BIG problem - and VERY painful. It has to be treated with antibiotics. If if goes untreated, like in my case, you are more likely to develop chronic sinusitis - not a good thing to have. You will suffer, and the only thing that can prevent it at that point is a surgery, where they scrape all the pollups inside your sinuses and correct the septum (if that has been compromised - like in my case). Think about your overall health....longterm. Sinus infections are not to be dealt with lightly. More complications come out of being untreated, even if you feel better for a while.

Me Having Chronic Rhinitis Sinusitis.
(the lining in the nostrils are thin)

If it's inhaled related and If you can't afford high price "Zicam".
I just want everyone to know, I've been using a cotton swob's(Q-Tips), with Listerine to clean out my nostrils prior to big time "Zicam" coming out on the market, for over 25 years.

Sometimes (well most of the time) when I have a break out. I leave the Q-Tip laying inside my nose. OOOHHH what a relief it is.

Desperation has driven me to use, Ben Gay ....don't swallow the stuff, don't let too much go into your stomach!.....In fact anything that has a anti-biotic substance helps...................

Okay doctors, nurses go in the corner and scream.
I got no help, so I had to self medicate!
You work at the Post Office and breath in all the dust from all corners of the world!

1 tablespoon of local (raw, is best!) honey everyday until summer is over with. This way your body builds up immunities to local allergens that may be in the honey the bees produce. You can also take stinging nettle, just follow the bottle's directions. I know that stinging nettle really helps me. I take it at the first sign of an itchy throat, eyes and ears.

i am an allergy suffer and i was told of a remedy that seemed to work for me.....take 1 teaspoon of LOCAL honey. It needs to be the honey that is made from hives in your area.

the explanation given to me was that the bees ingest the airborne pathogens and by exposing yourself to the pathogens in small doses it helps your body develop immunity.

Vanilla candles are a neutralizer and inexpensive to burn in your home. For work, social outings, etc. Keep a Vanilla scented lip balm to hoof. It can instantly neutralize and clear up allergies quick so you don't feel so bad or awkward. I use these all the time and for my 9 yr old daughter.

Honey or bee pollen from a local bee keeper. Sometimes your health food store will carry these from locals.

The reason I say local is so the bees are using the pollen from your area.

You can also use salt water, just sniff a little up from a cup or saucer into your nose. It clears the sinus cavities. They sell it as 'saline' spray and charge you for it, but you can make it at home with a little salt and warm water.

The best thing always to do is do like a netty pot or a sinus rinse. Cleanse your nose. Repeating it often will help relieve pressures and trash that comes with daily life.
