Here's some of best of the free spectacles:
Water Show - Fountains of Bellagio
(every 15 minutes I think; at night)
Fremont Street Experience - Fremont St.
Masquerade Show in the Sky - Rio
Volcano/White Tigers - Mirage
Lions - MGM
Sirens of TI - Treasure Island
Sunset Stampede - Sam's Town
Atlantis & Festival Fountains - Caesars Palace
Other than that, The Venetian has a nice scenery as if you were in Italy. You can also ride the gondola, it can be pretty romantic.
Caesar Palace has it's place set like if you were in the ancient time in Rome.... and has pretty good shopping place...
Also, on the inside of Bellagio, there is this picture spot that they change the theme occasionally, i thought it can be nice. And at night, they'd have the water show, it's really nice.
Circus Circus has a whole floor lever for arcade games where you can play for cheap and win prizes! And they also have an indoor-theme park, adventure dome... with rides and whatnot. Oh, and they have a free circus act you can watch for every 15minutes.
Go to the Strathosphere hotel and go to the Strathosphere tower, (i forgot how much it cost) but it has a really nice beautiful view from up top. Plus, there are some roller-coaster rides up there too, but if you're afraid of heights, I wouldn't recommend it.
And their newest hotel (i think), Wynn, has pretty picture spots too!
Well, that's just SOME things, and i suggest you just go inside each hotels. Go to hotel to hotel, it's fine. That's what i do :) Every hotel has their own theme, and you should enjoy it. And if you like shopping, make sure to chekout the outlet! Oh, and Vegas has the best buffets!!! Have a fun trip :)
ps: there's a Premium Outlet Mall on Charleston and watch the shows!

I'm 22 and I was there with my boyfriend last October for the first time. We went to Fremont St and I hated it! The crowd was older, it was all casinos and gambling, and I thought it was boring and out of the way. The light show was cool and we did eat at a buffet that was cheap and good. But I'm not much of a gambler and I felt like that's all there was to do down there. Definitely see the fountains at the Bellagio. It's free and really cool. I also liked going up in the Eiffel Tower at the Paris at night. The best clubs in my opinion are LAX at Luxor and Jet at the Mirage. If you see any special events with celebrities going on, check out the red carpet. I got to see some celebs when I was there! I also loved the free lion habitat at MGM Grand and the rollercoaster at NY NY and the shops at Caesar's Palace and Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood.

Your budget is great and you will not overspend that.
Rent a car and drive out to Hoover dam. Not a long trip but it is marvelous. You can see lake mead and dam and visit the gift shop.
Or you may want to take a ride to Primm and the outlets. That is 40 mins south near the California line. You can also watch the coyotes run in the desert.
Would you like to take a ride to Mt. Charleston, that is 60 miles west another beautiful place.
there's shows, span and many things to do in your hotel.
Bellagio has the best breakfast buffet in town.
enjoy

You might find a couple of inexpensive shows. I think you can even find exciting shows at no charge. Like that big pirate ship on the strip. Many of the casino's have mini museums ( cars, antiques, etc ). There are swimming pools of course. There are many mini malls to window shop and see exciting things. If you choose carefully there are very economical places to eat. You don't have the stress or conflict of family and friends - you will have time to enjoy each other's company and make love. Have fun.

The biggest myth about Las Vegas among people who have never been there is that all there is to do is gamble. You won't believe how wrong you are about that belief until you are there ! There is plenty to do in Vegas besides gamble. Many people go there and don't gamble at all !
There are many things to see, plenty of shows, rides, shopping, food, and other forms of entertainment to keep you busy.

We went to Las Vegas last year and I found this site very helpful.
It gave me a list of top 10 free things to do and it also tells you where to get buffet style dinners if you are on a tight budget. There is plenty to see and do there. Take comfortable shoes, the more you walk the more you will want to see.
