This concerns my problem to what I think are called sugar ants, but I'm not sure. You see, I drank a can of Sprite last night and I woke up this morning to the empty can on my dresser just swarming with these little bugs! I threw the can out to get rid of them, but I saw them again a few hours later, running about on my dresser. One even managed to get on my arm without me realizing it until I felt a little sting. I look to see the small thing just positioned in one spot, so I swiped it off. I'm sure it bit me... but maybe I was imagining it? Anyway, these little creatures have somehow crawled onto other things in my room as I write this and I'm getting sick of the fact that they're actually here... I killed some with bug spray, but it only seems like others takes their place. I'm kind of afraid to sleep in my room tonight since I get the fear that I might wake up with them crawling over me...

What should I do to prevent these little insects from invading me and my room?

If it was a sugar ant it didn't bite you and they are hard to get rid of. Best thing to do is clean the room paying strong attention to the area the ants where since the slightest bit of sugar or starchy residue will attract them. To keep them from your sleeping space keep sweetened drinks sweets to a minimum and throw them away in a different room. Once you get rid of whatr attracts them they will leave or at least move to a different room.

Buy a little bottle of TERRO and you will only have to use it once a year, and a very small amount.
